No doubt you have heard of the national television show Dancing with the Stars. Every year you can help support the local chapter and support NBP at the same time! Jake Jacobson, Director of Public Relations at Children’s Mercy Hospital, danced on behalf of Noah’s Bandage Project at the BMA Foundation’s Dancing with the Stars event on June 10, 2017. (More information about him below.) Your votes helped raise money for kids fighting cancer.

Jake Jacobson, Director of Public Relations at Children’s Mercy Hospital, danced at this event to raise money for Noah’s Bandage Project. Noah met Jake when he was undergoing treatment at Children’s Mercy Hospital. Jake helped Noah share his idea with the public and now he is helping raise funds for pediatric cancer research. What an awesome gift he has given to this deserving organization. When he’s not helping out with NBP, he’s enjoying lots of activities including traveling, outdoor activities, and tweeting (@JakesJournal).

The BMA Foundation was started in honor of Brian Anselmo, 28, who passed away as the result of an asthma attack. Through this foundation his family gives grants to other non-profit charities. NBP is honored to be one of the recipients of their donations.
